The processing is carried out for the purpose of:

  2. properly and fully performing the “Registration” and “Customer Service” services that you may request and that are available on the Website. For a description of the services, please refer to the “Terms of Use”;
  3. properly and fully performing any sales contract concluded online by you with PET CONCEPT ITALIA or carrying out pre-contractual measures adopted at your request;
  4. subject to your consent, sending you PET CONCEPT ITALIA commercial communications by email (“Newsletter”). You may revoke your consent at any time or object to receiving such communications (through the dedicated link included at the bottom of each email or by contacting the Data Controller);

  • for “Customer Service”: your first and last name, phone number, email address and any further data necessary to satisfy and respond to your request for information and assistance relating to online sales (in particular, data relating to your purchases);
  • for the “Newsletter”: your email address;
  • in the event of communications or requests sent by you to PET CONCEPT ITALIA using the contact details available on the Website, in particular: the personal data you use for your communication (postal address, phone number, fax number or email address), as well as any additional personal data you may include in your message or that may be necessary for the complete and proper handling of your communication or request;
  • for compliance with legal obligations: the personal data necessary to fulfill the obligations provided for by law.

Personal data may be processed both through paper archives and electronic means (including portable devices) and processed in ways strictly necessary to achieve the purposes indicated above.

Legal basis for processing

Your personal data are processed:

  • subject to your express consent, to send you the “Newsletter”;
  • to properly and fully perform any sales contract concluded online by you with PET CONCEPT ITALIA or to carry out pre-contractual measures adopted at your request;

Consequences of failure to provide personal data

Failure to provide data may, depending on the case, make it impossible for you to use the Website’s content, the services available on the Website (“Contacts”, “Registration”, “Customer Service” and “Newsletter”), receive responses to your communications or requests, conclude and perform the online sales contract with PET CONCEPT ITALIA or carry out the pre-contractual measures requested by you, or receive PET CONCEPT ITALIA commercial communications (“Newsletter”).

The provision of your personal data for the services available on the Website (“Contacts”, “Registration”, “Customer Service” and “Newsletter”) is entirely optional. The provision of your personal data for the purpose of concluding and performing the online sales contract is mandatory in order to conclude and perform the contract or where required by law.

Data retention

  2. b) for the “Newsletter” service, until the possible termination of the service by PET CONCEPT ITALIA or until you revoke your consent to receive the “Newsletter”, which you may do at any time by using the dedicated link included at the bottom of each newsletter or by contacting PET CONCEPT ITALIA and, in any case, for a maximum period of 1 (one) year from the moment you gave your consent. Your personal data will no longer be processed for this purpose also if you decide to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes (for the “right to object”, see the following section “Rights of the data subject”);
  3. c) for the “Registration” service, until the possible termination of the service by PET CONCEPT ITALIA or until deletion of your account, which you may decide at any time by using the dedicated feature available within your restricted area (“Delete Account” feature) or by requesting it through PET CONCEPT ITALIA using the contact details shown on the Website and in this policy (sections “Data Controller” and “Contacts”);
  4. d) for the conclusion and performance of the online sales contract or for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at your request, for 10 (ten) years from the proper and complete performance of the online sales contract concluded by you with PET CONCEPT ITALIA or from the proper and complete execution of the pre-contractual measure requested by you;
  5. e) for compliance with legal obligations, for the period required by law.

For technical reasons, the cessation of processing and the consequent deletion of your personal data will take place within 30 (thirty) days of the deadlines indicated above.

This is without prejudice to cases where retention for a longer period is required in relation to disputes, requests from competent authorities or pursuant to applicable law.

Disclosure of data

Your personal data may be disclosed:

  1. a) to personnel or collaborators specifically authorized by the Data Controller (internal staff or collaborators);
  2. b) to third parties used by the Data Controller to provide the services (so-called Data Processors), such as IT service providers, internet and telecommunications operators;

Rights of the data subject
